At Expert Wedding Officiants, we understand the importance of your privacy and security when booking our services. This page outlines our key principles and practices for handling your booking information. We are committed to ensuring your data is protected and used responsibly.
Key principles of booking
To ensure accuracy and confirmation, all bookings must be scheduled through our calendar booking system. We require full payment at the time of booking, which is securely processed through Stripe. Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking are eligible for a refund, minus standard processing fees. Cancellations made after 48 hours are non-refundable, as your date and time are reserved exclusively for you. Rescheduling is permitted in advance and subject to availability.
By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
Keeping your data secure
We utilize robust security measures to protect your booking data from unauthorized access. Our systems are regularly monitored and updated to guard against potential threats. Access to your booking information is restricted and we do not store cardholder data .We collect only the information necessary to perform and document your ceremony this includes Contact Information: Name, email, phone number, and mailing address, ceremony details as of the date, time, location, and service preferences.
Protecting your booking data
We understand that couples may have concerns regarding the privacy of their booking information. We are committed to protecting your data from unauthorized access. We use secure systems and encryption to protect your sensitive information. Our team is trained to handle your data with utmost care and confidentiality. We do not share your booking information with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent
After Ceremony
Personal records are maintained for no longer than 20 days following the ceremony and are then securely removed from our system.
Marriage licenses and all government-issued documents are never stored or retained.
All financial transactions are processed exclusively through Stripe, ensuring industry-standard PCI-compliant security and data protection
